Okay, so, this “reboot” you’re reading was originally going to be more of a faithful adaptation until I wrote the rough draft for this chapter.
Here, the characters suddenly started acting on their own, doing stuff I didn’t expect them to do. Wow! I really wanted to see what happened next! So I had to keep writing to find out! (I hope I didn’t just raise your expectations too high!)
The following pages are loosely based on the events of chapter 6 of Marvelous Land of Oz with a bit of chapter 8 and is named after chapter 4, “Tip Makes an Experiment in Magic.”
This cover is, of course, a blatantly self-indulgent nod to high school romance manga tropes because Yellow Brick Ramble is nothing if not blatantly self-indulgent.
New chapter starts today, so I’m reblogging the Tumblr feed.
I made a relatable meme!

This is due to personal reasons.
Just letting everyone know.
What are your own designs for the wicked witches of the east and west of oz? How purely evil can they get?
The witches of the East & West are both dead in my comic, but you will see brief cameos of each of them in flashbacks. Nothing major!
There are alive witches in the comic too. You’ve already seen Locasta & Mombi.
it may be way too early in the comic to ask this, but once the Yellow Brick Ramble comic is done, any chance we could see a webseries adaptation in the future? God the people in the animation industry could use all the help they can get considering the everything going on on that side of things.
By the way, sorry if I'm asking too many questions, I'm just very curious about your work.
It’s doubtful!
I love animation, but I don’t have the resources to do something like that on my own properly.
My end goal is making good comics and that’s where I’m putting my energy.
Anyway, I did the math and it’ll take two years for me to complete this Marvelous Land of Oz adaptation. Whether or not I’ll be doing any of the other books is unknown at this time.
This one may come out of left field because of your tastes in literature, but How do you feel about the famous (or depending on who you are, infamous) book 1984? No jokes. No memes. Just your honest opinion.
I haven’t read it! :o
When I was young, I had this goal of reading ALL the great classic novels! That sounds like a lofty intellectual goal, doesn’t it?
But I eventually realized I wasn’t reading for fun anymore. So, I decided my time would be better spent just reading what I like: LOWBROW TRASH.
But I’ve read Animal Farm. It’s pretty good.
She has such a big romantical crush on Logan, right?
At any rate, Tip and The Sawhorse are good friends.
