Added three more character cards to YBR’s cast page.
Of course, the Loons have already appeared in the comic.
Sir Dashemoff Daily was a character in the 1902 stage play (played by a woman) who tried to woo Dorothy. He was a human, but I decided to make him a donkey because Oz is full of talking animals. He only shows up on two pages unless I decide to do a rewrite before his appearance.
Hickory plays the role of the Queen of the Fieldmice’s subject in Marvelous Land of Oz, but his backstory is he’s also a character from the short story, “Hickory, Dickory, Dock”, in Baum’s Mother Goose in Prose.
I’ll probably go back and add that dragon to the cast page at some point, but I need to add characters in groups of three so that the table isn’t uneven! ;)
Friendly reminder!
My snooze thing has been stuck to on forever so aunno what that means.
You have to turn it off and turn it back on again to reset it.
I think they make it confusing on purpose.

Tip X Logan got 15.8% last time I did this poll.
I’m curious to see if my little webcomic changed the public opinion of this ship at all.
Yellow Brick Ramble is far enough along that I decided it was time to order bookmarks, which are what I use as business cards at conventions and appearances.
It’s got spot gloss too! How fun! All nine members of Jinjur’s army of revolt (who you’ll meet in the next few chapters) are here as well as an ordinary non-magnified wogglebug.
I gave the speaking role to Juni Jump because someone has to say “dot com” and she has such a lovely speaking voice.
Also featured on the back are Dorothy and her friends from the first page:
I ordered them from the same place I did Gastrophobia’s bookmarks, which had a similar characters-walking-in-a-row design:
The EU is doing a big survey for LGBTQ people who live in the EU about how it is for them right now. That’s the kind of survey that’s used for official reports and for laws so it’s super important that it has as many people taking it as possible. You can take it in every EU language. (You can change the language in the top right corner) Share it with your friends!

Okay, so, this “reboot” you’re reading was originally going to be more of a faithful adaptation until I wrote the rough draft for this chapter.
Here, the characters suddenly started acting on their own, doing stuff I didn’t expect them to do. Wow! I really wanted to see what happened next! So I had to keep writing to find out! (I hope I didn’t just raise your expectations too high!)
The following pages are loosely based on the events of chapter 6 of Marvelous Land of Oz with a bit of chapter 8 and is named after chapter 4, “Tip Makes an Experiment in Magic.”
This cover is, of course, a blatantly self-indulgent nod to high school romance manga tropes because Yellow Brick Ramble is nothing if not blatantly self-indulgent.
New chapter starts today, so I’m reblogging the Tumblr feed.
